What makes a good relationship?

In my opinion, there are many factors that help make up a good relationship. Of the many, true love would be the biggest factor of a good relationship. Others factors would consist of a good friendship, honesty, trust and happiness. Love, it's really all that it takes to have a good, even great relationship. If you have love then you automaticly have everything else, the friendship, the honesty, trust and happiness. Let me explain myself.

Think about your best friend. You love have a good relationship with them right? Well why is this? Because you have love. It doesn't even have to be all the romantic lovey dovey stuff. Just love period. If you do truely love them, then you have a good relationship. You have 1) a good friendship, obviously. 2) your honest with eachother. 3) You trust one another. 4) You are both happy. Which would make sense.

If you don't base a good or even just a relationship on love then I could only imagine how bad the relationship would be. If you don't have love, then you don't have anything else. Anything that would also go along with it just doesn't exist in the relationship. You can have friendship, honesty, trust, happiness without love. But you cannot have love, if you don't have those things. If you want love, then you automatically get the other stuff with the package.

If you want a good relationship then find love. Without love, there is no relationship. If someone where to get into a relationship, but they didn't love eachother, then the relationship would be completely pointless. There would be absolutely no reason at all to be with a person in a relationship if you do not love them. Just a waste of time. If you were in a relationship with someone and you didn't love them then you would get sick of them. That could lead to other stuff along the lines of abuse, hatred, anger, and much more.

As you can see I believe that any good relationship should be based on love. It is the only possible way that one could be in a good relationship or even a relationship at all! From the reasons that I gave I hope you know that love is the greatest factor of any relationship.

Should we be tested to graduate high school?

I personally believe that high school students should not be tested to graduate high school. If you were to think about it there are many reasons that students shouldn't be tested to graduate. Some reasons being that some people do not test well at all, we've already had tons of schooling to prove our knowlege, and much more. In my next few paragraphs I will explian my thinking.

My first reason being that some students do not test well. I am one who doesn't test very well and when I hear the word test, it about makes me sick. I just can't handle them very well. i can know all of the stuff backwords to front and still get a very poor score on my test. As soon as I see that test infront of my I get so nervous. Then my mind blanks out which results in doing poorly on a test.

Also, from the time of Kindergarten to you Senior year you have taken a total of 13 years of schooling, not including if you have taken Preschool. All those hours that you've studied for quizes and tests, all the many more hours that you've spent doing homework, on top of that all of the in class participation assignments. That is a lot for a highschool kid to handle. Then on top of that lets just throw on another test that possibly could determine where you go to college and the game plan for the rest of your life. There is so much material that the ACT covers that students could be so smart and get the best of grades and know the material, but then when it comes to writing it all down, they choke and end up doing very poorly and then they blew thier chance to do something great. We should get more credit for all the work that we do than we do actually get credit for.

One last reason is because there are other ways that we have to pass to graduate. First, we have to pass all of our classes. We also have to be in school with no more than x amount of tardies and absences. Some students struggle in these areas. We have already been tested in each and every single different one of our classes. If we have already passed that class then abviously we know the stuff that we need to know to pass. So why do they stress us out even more adding another test on top of all of this. If they added another test then I believe that the only thing to make it right is not even test throughout the year. If the test is the thing to make us graduate, then why would students come to school? Why would they do homework or participate in class?

In conclusion I think that they should most defenatly not make us take an addional test to graduate high school. If they add a test, they add stress and anxiety as well. My reasons should clearly tell you why I think that we should not be tested on what we have learned throughout the years to graduate high school.
